Owl class have been learning about measuring and have been using language to compare sizes. We decided to look at our hands and compare them, we spoke about how big they were and put them in order. The children then made a Christmas tree made of all their hand prints which you can see in our garden.
We enjoyed listening to the story The Scarecrows Wedding so much some of us decided to get married out in our garden!
We learnt about the celebration of light called Diwali and enjoyed learning the story about Rama and Sita. To help us to remember and learn the story we made story maps. During the week to celebrate Diwali we also made our own Diva lamps from clay and made and tasted Raita. Lots of us enjoyed the tasting!
