Academic Review Day - Friday 8th March 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

On Friday 8th March, school is closed for all pupils due to Academic Review Day. 

Academic Review Day is the format we use instead of parents' evening as it allows more flexibility for parents/carers to book an appointment to see their child’s teachers around other commitments. 

It is an expectation that all parents book an appointment please as it is vital that we work in partnership with families to give your child the best chance of success.

Teachers are available from 8am - 6pm for 15 minute appointments to talk about your child’s progress, attainment, behaviour and attendance. You can also use this opportunity to see your child’s books.  

Ms Bridson, our Safeguarding Officer is also available all day to book an appointment should you wish to discuss any ways we can support your family.

Ms Smyth, our SENDCO is available to book an appointment in the afternoon should you wish to discuss any challenges or barriers your child may have to accessing their education. 

Our school office has already started to book appointments for ARD Day by calling parents/carers and they’ll continue to do this. However, if you’d like to contact us instead of waiting for this call to book your appointment then please call 01454867180 or email admin@tyndaleprimary.co.uk.

If you do not book an appointment for this day, the class teacher will give you a call at some point to problem solve with you and overcome any barriers to your attendance at Academic Review Day.
